SHOUT!

A 30min film, shaped by local voices from Hebden Bridge,West Yorkshire, UK.

What do you want to say to the sky? Hebden Bridge has had a lot from the sky in recent years — rain and floods pouring down us. What do we want to give back? Tipping the idea of falling water on its head, we invited local people to rain-up their inner-most thoughts, attitudes and opinions. Audio collected from residents, inviting them to record their words to the universe. The film combines moving and still images — people and landscape combine for a diverse impression of Hebden Bridge, warts and all.

Premier : Hebden Bridge July 2017. Screenings at a range of community venues in West Yorkshire followed.
